National Suicide Awareness Week September 8th - 14th

Bag in the designed Color Coding DNA Kate Spade Fabric by Greg Herzog
Artist and behavioral specialist Greg Herzog used his Color Coding DNA ® to create this Kate Spade painting and bag. It was the first contemporary abstract painting of Kate Spade’s Color Coding DNA ®. Proceeds from the painting and bag will go to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

What would an individual or subject look like if they were represented by a color or a series of colors?

That’s the question driving artist and behavioral specialist Greg Herzog’s patented Color Coding DNA ®. Herzog applied his method, to create a painting that honored fashion designer Kate Spade who took her own life earlier this year.

The painting, titled Kate Spade Painting Suicide Prevention and Awareness, was created for National Suicide Prevention Month in September.

The method, which uses geometric mathematical equation, where a number of points represent the makeup of a subject and each degree of expression within the context of each point is color coded and weighted accordingly, is called Quantum Reaction Theory.
